Planning A Blog - part 1

Before we create a blog, it's good plan on our blog. Plan that we need to arrange, among others:

Target Readers


Defining the target readers of my place as planned because the first target of this will determine the use of language, selection of a domain, title, description, keyword, style of language / writing, display settings, widget selection, and issues related to the optimization blog. Targets readers I separate this into two categories, namely the target of a horizontally and vertically targeted readers.

The targeting of a horizontally means of determining the target reader is based on the location (Geotag). Are your blog readers will be directed to local or international readers? If the blog you want to make is for the local readers (in this case the reader from Indonesia) then the article, domain, title, keyword, and all the things you have in the blog to use the Indonesian Language. Conversely, if the blog that you will make later to the readers from all over the world should have a blog written with the English.
In the next steps there is a tendency tips & tricks this blog is intended to build the English language even though you can still use it to build a blog in Indonesian. Why English? Remember the goal of making the beginning of this blog is to blogging as well as business activities that can generate money. As we know that the activities monetising blog to blog in English have the quantity and quality is better than the Indonesian monetizing blog. All about monetizing blog will reviewing in the next chapters.
As for determining the vertical target is set from which the reader is expected to come. For example, if the blog is addressed to the young generation or older generations, whether the blog is for the non-formal community or formal community. Mapping target readers will determine the steps you choose the style of language in writing, whether the style of casual or formal style. You can also determine the selection of templates and decorate the blog.

Determining Main Keyword


After determining the target readers, blog planning continued with the set main keyword of the blog. Keyword is the main topic that you will write in the articles of the blog. From the main keyword, we can search for keywords or keyword derived additional support is the main keyword.
As a blog that will be used as a online business, keyword selection is the main keyword should be a lot of searching. There are millions of keywords which you can find, but for smooth update your article, you should choose the keywords that you know much. Take advantage of what is currently on you. If you are a mechanic then find keywords of interest related to your profession, such as tips or treat car, caring car, or modification car.
Once you have a list of keywords, open GoogleSearch and type your keywords list, one by one.

Search results for keyword "car caring" in GoogleSearch is 10,100,000. The data show that too many web and blog using the keyword "car caring." Keyword caring car should not use for your main keywords because too many competitors. Try to use keywords that are relevant, for example "caring car tips".

Searching for keyword "caring car tips" get 264,000 Google results. Is not easier to competing with 264,000 web / blog than competing with 10,100,000 web / blog?
